Port Townsend Firefighters: Gear-Geeks With Big Hearts

Posted on December 13, 2006. Filed under: My Quirky Videos |

When PT firefighters were called to the historic Aldrich’s Grocery building with word of a fire it was no ordinary emergency. You see, Aldrich’s just burned to the ground three years ago and was lovingly rebuilt and reopened two summers ago as it has been a beloved part of Port Townsend for well over 100 years. Port Townsend’s dedicated firefighters have a tender place in their heart for this building and will not let it or the people it serves be harmed…

…and I am still totally geeking out on their cool gear!

This video includes some PT locals such as Cyndee of Sweet Laurette & Cyndee’s Cafe as well as Joann Saul of the Public House, Fins, and Aldrich’s Deli.

Thanks for the link

I have a soft spot for firefighters. Great link.

I want to give some love to http://www.roanokefirefighters.blogspot.com/

Go check out this site if you have any interest in the world of firefighting. There are some very interesting videos as well as commentary.

Love is something if you give it away! It only takes a spark, to get a fire going. Wait, bad analogy.
