An Evening of Sophisticated Silliness
benefitting the non-profit organization, Sound Experience

If you come to the first show, you might just see me there with my camera vlogging the whole thing!

Celebrating its 12th year, the Laugh Lover’s Ball is committed to providing an uproarious alternative to the traditional romantic date on Valentine’s Day. On February 14, 2007 at the Moore Theatre, lovebirds and singles alike delight in two live stand-up performance shows from award-winning comedians: David Crowe and Bengt Washburn, plus side-splitting acts from the zany duo that make up the Cody Rivers Show, local musician/comedian Reggie Watts and traveling numismatist,Lloyd Althauser. Two unique shows (6:00pm and 8:30pm) hosted by Fastlane Philips, from 97.3 KBSG, are sure to tickle funny bones for one and all.

In addition to providing an opportunity to enjoy live entertainment and knee-slapping fun, the Laugh Lover’s Ball is a benefit event that provides the perfect occasion to support the environmental education programs for the non-profit organization, Sound Experience, and also share some belly laughs with that special someone. The Laugh Lover’s Ball, presented by Alvin Goldfarb Jeweler and Oldies 97.3 KBSG, has become the #1 annual fundraiser for the non-profit organization, Sound Experience. As a matter of fact, this event has contributed more than $100,000 to Sound Experience youth programs aboard the historic schooner, Adventuress, over the past eleven years.
