Here is a trailer I created for People Geek TV. I hope you like it. I am open to suggestion about this and any other content.

Also, please let me know if there are shows ideas you would like to see me do. I still owe a viewer an “I support our troops” reality check. Do those with yellow ribbon stickers on their cars really actively support our troops? Will they show their support financially? I will find out, but I have to look for yellow ribbons outside of my immediate area as there are very few in liberal Port Townsend. Most of our yellow ribbon car stickers say “Support our troops, bring them home”.

What show ideas do you have?

We had a great time at Eggnite Seattle… er Ignite Seattle where innovation was the key theme throughout the event. Video of the many presentations will be posted on the Ignite Seattle site so I won’t trouble with them here. What I need to show you is much more *hard hitting*. It will have you answering the questions of which came first, the chicken or the egg, with a resounding, “Does it really matter?!”

This is how I keep myself entertained at the doctor’s office. I get bored easily. Can you imagine having to be me every where you went? It’s not easy, not easy at all.

This is my son, Logan’s, first video blog. He wanted me to edit out all the funny parts where he told me what to do. Sorry for that, but it is his show, not mine.

My friends Sacha and Alayna have a brand new baby boy. They email me periodically with pictures and it gets me all sentimental. I found myself writing the following to them. I also found myself splicing together some videos of Logan from age one to age 5. And now I see that I seem to be posting all this.

We are having fun and Logan is growing not quite so fast anymore but the time is moving more quickly so you couldn’t really tell. Baby time is the slowest and the fastest time ever. It’s slow when you are handling a diaper blow-out and poop is everywhere and you don’t have a change of clothes and it is freezing out. And time goes fast when you realize he is never ever going to be that completely helpless writhing worm ever again. For a long time I kept thinking Logan was going to turn into a little baby again but he just hasn’t gone backwards. He just keeps growing and changing. He argues with me. We get mad at each other. We laugh at some of the same jokes. And when times get challenging, I just imagine I am 67 and he’s 36 and doesn’t want me all the time and absolutely refuses to cling or sit on my lap. Heck, he doesn’t even call me very often and I have to hold myself back from calling him 10 times a day. Won’t I long for just one more blown out diaper then? One inconsolable hour of crying?

You may remember Rusty the hairpreneur of Pandemos Salon and American Leatherman 2006 from my Running Fool videos. Well, he had expressed some concerns about my hair. So, I scheduled an appointment with him. You can see the process and results in just five minutes through the miracle of time lapse photography.

 Ryanne Hodson & Jay Dedman have done it again! These video bloggers not only create fun and edgy posts, but they really deeply demonstrate what is possible via the vlogosphere. I am grateful for their passion for and commitment to promoting sustainability. Check ‘em out!

So, my brother and I have always been super competitive. It all started when he broke my snow fort when we were kids. Anyway, now that I have been video blogging for a while, he is starting to get that I am better at him at something. Now he wants to be the big vlogger of the family (I guess we call them vee-loggers, now. He can’t even pronounce it right!) I am posting his first attempt so he can be the joke of the vlogosphere instead of it always having to be me.

 OK, in case you haven’t figured out my sense of humor (or lack of one) thus far, the first paragraph is, in fact, meant as a joke. Actually, I have been trying to talk my brother into vlogging for a little while now… about 24 hours or so. I think he did a great job with his camera. Let’s call his camera “Ruby”. Come see Ruby on Rails…
